ROSE VALLENTINE
After dabbling in a variety of possible careers including acting, theatre sound and lighting, and a Psychology degree at Macquarie University, Rose stumbled across post production and discovered a passion. Coming from an accomplished family of musicians and academics Rose found the editing environment the perfect outlet for her creative drive whilst still challenging her technical and problem solving skills. Rose was bought up around computers and as such has a wide knowledge of the available software. Having completed her HSC major work using digital manipulation of photography, Rose has an intimate understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator having spent many long nights becoming acquainted with the platforms. Her hard work paid off, with her artworks being proudly displayed in the Art Express Exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

After school Rose took some time out to travel, exploring South East Asia and more recently sailing Patagonia, the base of Argentina and Chile in South America. Rose came to settle at CBD after a work experience opportunity and has found her place underneath the wing of the very capable Roen Davis. Surprising everyone, including herself, Rose has proved to be a natural talent in the editing environment and has forged friendships with all her clients delivering videos above and beyond everyone’s expectations. With a hunger for knowledge and perfection, Rose slots easily into the CBD team and provides an injection of energy and a refreshingly new outlook on the industry
